Nearly twenty years later, the Yoshitoshi Records-released single "Give Me Luv" by Alcatraz remains one of that techno era's finest overall moments. Thick, slick, and massive, the track does its best damage when it penetrates the mind of a partier. It's loping bassline is the key component of a dance-floor weapon that has consistently surged into consciousness' for quite some time. When DAD spoke with "Queen of Techno" Nicole Moudaber a few months back, she mentioned she had remixed the track for Sharam's legendary label, and now it's arrived.

Clocking in at 10-plus minutes (two minutes longer than the original), this one represents a deeper, longer and uncut funk, making at a dance floor bomb that sends all listeners deeper into the abyss it leaves in its wake. Regarding the track now available on Beatport, Moudaber says the following: "As I got into the mix one of those ideas just grew and grew, namely an extended breakdown that constantly builds; layering the memorable vocal to an intense pay-off and (hopeful) moment of real dance floor drama."
