It can be rough being a househead these days. The once anthemic and classic sounds of Swedish-influenced vocal progressive house have all but disappeared. Dutch and electro took what's left of progressive and morphed into the messy amalgam known as big room. The deeper and techier side of house? Well, it seems like no one *actually* knows what those terms mean either. So that's where we're at now, and that's why Alex Metric and Oliver's new track, "Hope," is so dope. It's an authentic piece of house with it's thumping kicks, pumping rhythyms, and quick-hitting yet infectious rave stabs. There's just an old school feel through out this one so get down and groove. Grab this on April 22 when it drops via Metric's new Hope EP via OWSLA.
