Atlantic Connection is one of those producers that I've seen grow over the years. When he debuted with Kevin Focus as the drum & bass duo Basic Operations, it was amazing to hear an American dnb group getting the kind of love they were receiving from all sides of the drum & bass world. After that crew dissolved, we were introduced to Atlantic Connection, who went from crafting lush drum & bass to exploring a cavalcade of other genres, taking him to many great places (like getting MTV placements), and culminating in the release of Love Architect last June, which showed what we knew: dude got beats.
On July 2, Atlantic Connection will be releasing Love Architect Remixed, which boasts a number of alternate takes on the album cuts from Bro Safari, Sinistarr, Brent Still Life, Edgewoode, Mikal, Submorphics, and others, including Kastle's "My Love" remix, which was so good that it made the original album. Pigeons & Planes premiered the mix, and we wanted to make sure you got your morning off on the good foot with this promo mix, featuring tracks from the album alongside their remixed counterparts.
