Well... our SXSW festivities officially start tonight.  The flex with Peligrosa and Karmaloop begins and we've got one last thing to drop into your worlds before things get underway. Bombón, this up-and-coming crew from Houston, TX, is celebrating the drop of their debut crew release today by premiering the entire release with DAD.  This tight little five-track EP is jam-packed with so many interesting ideas on expanding the Latin impluse in today's electronic music circles. In speaking on the release, the crew says that theirs is a sound "featuring our range of Latin-inspired guapachoso music--from bachatas, sonideros, villeras, tribal and a signature cumbiaton style."  My pick of the bunch is the Navó remix of "Sufriendo," which has the vibes and swing completely dialed in.  There's not a weak one in the lot though as the entire crew, Navó, Gracie Chavez & Squincy Jones (DIRB!), OGT, Manny de la Rosa (Trill Made), and Panchitron all get some shine.  Navó and Gracie Chavez will also be setting things off for our Thursday showcase at Chupucabra and I, for one, cannot wait.
