You know that Diplo freaks over this kind of sound, right? Since 2007 Diplo (among a number of tastemakers worldwide) have ridden for Bonde do Role, even adding his production prowess to their second album, Tropicalbacanal, and today word from Mad Decent is that they’ve released the “Deluxxxe” version of Tropicalbacanal. Included in this new edition Bonde’s new single, “Kilo,” the previously-unreleased “Ayo,” and the Major Lazer remix of “Brazilian Boys,” which is a certified party starter. Major Lazer didn’t go ham and turn this into some raucous rework; they kept things sexy and full of groove, with a riddim that’s better-suited for an intimate slow-wind than some rowdy, sweaty twerking. Hypnotic in its approach, this subtle rock wins. Preview this monster down below, and grab Tropicalbacanal (Deluxxxe Version) via iTunes today (although Mad Decent did give this remix away for free).
