Around the end of October we told you that Boys Noize assembled a number of names for the forthcoming Tribute to Dance Mania compilation, which is set to drop on November 25. We've not heard much from the project, but today Boys Noize and Housemeister (of OP-1 album fame) have posted their contribution, "1988." The long and the short of it: this track knocks hard, and maintains so many retro elements that you might think this came from '88. They perfectly nailed the sound and vibe of Dance Mania, and have us thinking this might be one of the best tribute albums to come out this year. Assuming there is a big pool of tribute albums. In any case, you might want to put on a happy face tee and go ham to this one.
