I first heard Slander's work nearly a year ago. He and Omeguh remixed Clockwork's "Titan" and created one of the coolest trap tracks of 2012. Fast forward eight months, and he's getting his work approved by Jay-Z for the Trap Nation mixtape presented by Life+Times, Imanos, and Roc Nation. Every song on this release is a remix of an artist on the Roc Nation roster.
This remix of Calvin Harris' "Awooga" is a suave flip of the of the original, leading the recognizable synth into a spacious drop. This is a bit more mellow than the work that we have previously heard from Slander, but it's wonderfully executed. You can stream it below:
