Recently, Ariana Grande debuted the first single from her sophomore album, My Everything; this collaboration with Zedd, "Break Free," is pure EDM-laced pop music. She has a voice that can carry tunes this that, and regardless of how into today's pop music you are, it works for what it is. On the low, we'd been hearing that Ariana had also worked with Cashmere Cat on music for this album, and it looks like video has surfaced of Cashmere Cat dropping his track with Ariana, apparently called "Be My Baby," during his MoMA PS1 set over the weekend. Interestingly enough, it works just as well as you'd think it would. Think about it: Ariana and Cashmere Cat obviously share appreciation for '90s R&B; you can hear it in her Mariah-like vocals and Cashmere Cat's production. Of course they'd link up and make magic in the form of this future-leaning track. It's hard to hear, but we praise the smartphone cinematographer that grabbed this snippet.
