Here's a nice mid-evening morsel that just came out of left field: Flume has just broken off his remix of Chet Faker's "Gold," and it's a doozy. Faker's voice blends perfectly with Flume's dreamy, yet aggressive instrumentation. The subtle intensity of the track as a whole is simply more than likely to make this a summer gem, and one we're probably only hearing the beginning of. The official remix accompanies the "Gold" single, which came out last Wednesday, but we're nevertheless glad that Flume has posted it to his SoundCloud now–this might be one of those you'll remember hearing for the first time.
