We all love a good turn up but sometimes you gotta turn down. For what? For your own sanity, bro. If I was forced to just listen to party shit non-stop I would blow my brains out, and not only would I be dead but it would be a damn mess and someone would have to clean it up and they would probably hate it. Every now and then you gotta listen to something deep. This Ta-Ku remix of modern day soul crooner Chet Faker is exactly that. It’s a meeting of two Aussie beat auteurs who make very expressive music. It’s nice to hear the stronger hip-hop influence of Ta-ku fused with Chet Faker. It makes the original into a darker almost trip-hop style piece of bass music. Cool official remix.
