This shouldn't be a surprised; Chris Brown previously worked with Diplo and Afrojack on "Look At Me Now," and had a single with Afrojack last year, but with Diplo saying he's working with damn near everyone relevant on the current pop scene, it makes sense that Diplo's produced a tune for Chris Brown. "X," which is the title tune from Chris Brown's next album (due out on September 16), finds Brown "moving on" over a bass-y Diplo tune. It goes from atmospheric R&B to a deeper beat, chock full of turnt vibes, but never going into full, overbearing EDM vibes. AKA Diplo keeps his finger on the pulse of the electronic scene and knows how to siphon it into what will keep the kids vibing. Chris is talking to someone (a scorned love?), and is trying to keep quiet because the Devil's trying to tempt him. I don't know. I'm not a fan of Chris, but this makes sense.
