I love when gems hit the inbox. Daktyl hit the DAD email with his edit of fwdslzsh's "4 U," saying he had more material on deck. A quick glance through his SoundCloud turned up someinteresting things, including radio rips of his tracks being dropped by Plastician, De$ignated, and others, and I knew something was up. But DJs being DJs always makes sense; it's when like-minded outfits latch on that I truly smile... maybe with my eyes closed. SYZYGY, the outlet that dropped Madeaux's The Way EP, hit me up asking about Daktyl in a separate email, and that's when I knew it was time to turn up. So with that, we have a special premiere of this lush, laidback number "Eyes Closed," which features a beaut of a vocal looped over a track that we imagine many would classify as "turned down."
