Philly-Based artist Des McMahon is starting to release the tunes that every underground artist in the city has spent the past few months applauding him for, most notably his recent collaborative effort with Louis Futon, "Six Ten." He caught our eye when he came out of the gate releasing tunes with Tittsworth, and his affiliation with Play Me Records is nearly a year old. McMahon plants his roots deeper with this forward-thinking label with "Bow Down", a bouncy bass tune built to destroy the dance floor. Leaning on vocals from Philly emcee XNDR, this one truly goes off. It's also downloadable, so grab it while it's hot.
