Yesterday, we highlighted 30 American dubstep artists that we felt could help reestablish the scene in America. Like it or not, the peak that dubstep hit was overtaken by electro house, then trap/twerk, and in many circles, dubstep ends up being a dirty word. Some felt we “missed” artists, and one of those acts is Mesck. Mesck is from Baltimore, but now resides in Los Angeles, and has been picked up by Distance for his Chestplate imprint. Not sure if the comments sparked this upload or not, but yesterday he threw up a clip of this track with District entitled “Tripwire,” and it’s a scorcher. Loving the bass in this one, and the eerie vibe that it emits. That bass hits you right in the chest, and the percussive accents in this one are right up my alley. No word on when this one would be hitting, but I highly recommend grabbing his “Conquista” single, which dropped in June.
