We have no clue whatsoever how many of these "History of Footwork Music" mixes DJ Clent plans on knocking out for us, but this is quickly becoming one of my favorite series on Do Androids Dance. Further solidifying his space in footwork culture, he runs through nearly two dozen originals in a magical hour-long mix of rare and unreleased bangers. He also made sure to dig deep in his crates and mix in records from Majik Myke, Slugo, Lemo, and T-Rell, as well as tunes from Teklife affiliates DJ Rashad, RP Boo, and Traxman. Though this is 20 tracks and 20 minutes short of his first mix, the record selection is nothing to play with. This is a one-shot recording done live in Serato, and flexes his technical skill as a DJ as well as a phenomenal producer. We're honored to call "History of Footwork Music Vol. 2" a Do Androids Dance exclusive, and are hoping that these wonderful mixes continue to hit our inbox.
