Today is DJ Sega's birthday, but the young prince of Philadelphia club decided to give us a present. His Sixer Series is years deep at this point, and he's come a long way since Discobelle hosted the first edition of this brand three years ago. I know that a good majority of this release (maybe all of it) was knocked out as he took a hiatus in Australia, but this is only a small sampling of the music that he knocked out while he was laying low in the land down under. And while club will always be Sega's lane, the production is refined, and those signature chops are as clean as ever. This mix moves through seven tunes in 30 minutes, and allows each record to fully breathe. Picking samples from '90s classics and new favorites and flipping them on their heads was nothing that surprised us, but the Pusha T sample in the intro record that repeats "I made a lane cause they blocked ours" is deeper than most people will ever realize. You can stream or download below:

And just to see how many people are scrolling past our soundcloud embeds and tracklists, we figured we would offer links for volumes 1-3 via Discobelle and Mad Decent below. I assume that the ability to download volumes 4 and 5 was removed in order to keep them exclusive for the early supporters, as they look to be locked down at the moment. The first 3 editions of the "Sixer Series" don't appear to be going anywhere, though.
