The UK’s Black Butter Records is no doubt one of the finest in dance music these days. The label has birthed the careers of many top flight acts including the likes of Rudimental and Gorgon City. They recently launched Elderbrook, an 20-year old producer-singer-songwriter with an indie pop sensibility and sound. Elderbrook’s first single “Could” was premiered by our friends at Pigeons & Planes and we loved it, so we got our hands on the premiere for an official remix for “Could” courtesy of The Six. The Six perfectly twists into a deep bumping house cut with an airy ethereal quality to it that perfectly fits the Black Butter sonic aesthetic. The bubbling basslines and arpeggiated melodic riffs and sensual vocal work make it one heck of a groovy track. Elderbrook's debut EP, Simmer Down, drops on November 24 via Black Butter.
