Los Angeles native and Barcelona resident Filastine released his APHASIA EP earlier this week, a murderous four-track collage of genres and influences that combines unique vocal chops, sophisticated layering, and sounds that completely defy normality. He's given up a freebie from this release called "Sixty Cycle Drum." It's a record with juke foundation, meticulous detail in drum work and sound placement, and a kick that pounds and drives this marvelous offering all of the way home. The rest of the release is truly as good as this single, and you can pop over to Post World Industries' Bandcamp page to stream the rest of the project. Certainly feel free thank Filastine by purchasing the rest of the EP, which is being offered digitally as well as on vinyl, cassette tape, and compact disc. It's a banger that you will assuredly rinse out for years.
