What an awesome experiment. With an EP coming out on Ultra later this year, Solidisco were given the opportunity by Ultra to roll through their back catalog, looking for a track to remix. Being the nu disco gents that they are, they dipped back in the classic house archives, pulled out this beautiful cut from Salsoul Records, with vintage strings and horns a-plenty, and churned out this new school take on it in their own upbeat style. That solid blend of house and disco made this one a shoe-in for "obvious tracks that Solidisco will murder if they have the chance to remix them." DAD's been pulling for this duo, so it's great to see them getting their feet wet.
