Gangsta Boo & Sinjin Hawke – “Yea Hoe (Devils Daughter Mix)”

This shit right here? This is the kind of drum-less banger that you can feel proud to bump LOUDLY in your car audio system. Almost two months ago, we were blindsided by the rap/bass music marriage of Gangsta Boo and Sinjin Hawke on their collab “Yea Hoe,” but Pelican Fly says that’s not the only version that Sinjin Hawke did. In what feels like an homage to the classic UK grime “devil mix” craze, this minimal version of “Yea Hoe” is actually one of the earlier cuts of this banger. Word is that Gangsta Boo’s throwback nickname “Devils Daughter” was more than appropriate for this version, which eschews huge drums but isn’t any weaker. If you can’t turn up to this, you might need to figure your life out.
