Cool new project alert. Konrad of Old Money fame has linked with this dude named Unkle Ricky from Australia and the two have created Filthy Romeo. The rumor is they actually got into a bar fight in Vancouver and supposedly became friends in the drunk tank at the police station and decided to make music together. I wish I could make this up, but either way it's PR gold. This new tune from them is actually the second release from this Filthy Romeo project and it's a super buttery flip of Gil Scott Heron. "Any Way The Wind Blows" knocks on a soulful head nod bass tip and pretty much rules from start to finish. Premiering here on DAD today because that's just how we do.
