Let me just go out and say it; the over-reliance on Dutch house alarms and sounds is one of the reasons that the genre had limited appeal. I think a lot of people who produced moombahton made a mistake: they saw the Dutch house sounds as being intrinsic to the genre. They also probably were trying to copy the people who initially had the idea to use those sounds and met with success. Al of this is to say that tracks like this are refreshing and add a much needed vitality.
