HOWLS x Noah Breakfast - "004"

The landscape of today's beatmakers are far and wide in locale and sonic style. HOWLS is the collaborative efforts of Australia's Ta-ku and Kit Pop and for their fourth release they've enlisted American Noah Breakfast. The cloudy-eyed number bristles with twinkles and a bombast reminiscent of old-school Just Blaze, Rustie, or Sinjin Hawke, yet kept with it's own chopped style.

This fourth HOWLS installment comes after previous outings with ESTA, LAKIM, and B.Lewis and now of course has brought about Noah Breakfast. Breakfast first got his wave on with his work with Chiddy Bang as Xaphoon Jones but has since evolved into a maestro of his own sonic design and style. His recent James Blake cover efforts with Ellie Goulding and Angel Haze was stunning, so it's great to see him link with another outfit we're currently enjoying like HOWLS. No word on the download, but I could see that given the previous non-DL situations, an entire album/project release down the line would be in order. Either way, I'm curious and loving this track for now.
