At long last, we get the debut single, "Waiting Up," from Toronto native Hunter Siegel. This young talent has been slaying the Internets with crazy remixes for a while now and to see him step out with original content this strong should have some top level folks in the industry start looking over their collective shoulders. This peak-hour clubby house tune is, flat out, the shit. The sound design is really clean and well done, but it doesn't sacrifice the emotive vibes at all either. Long time producers can co-sign with me in saying that's a pretty difficult combination to achieve. Following last week's ridiculous collaboration with Zeds Dead, I think Hunter Siegel's flex is just getting underway.
