IDYLL is a female duo from Chicago that we've featured here on DAD before. Their debut tune dropped super early in 2014 and definitely caught my ear from the jump. Now comes single number two in "Bad Boi" and this project is definitely developing quite nicely. Angelina Lucero's vocals again stand out as she's got such a soulful tension in her delivery that it's difficult to not be enamored by her haunting sound. Her partner on the project, Jojo Yang, is getting super locked in on providing the perfect backdrops for Lucero as well. A very chill, wintery downtempo trap vibe is showcased here that's so appropriate for the time of year it almost hurts. Word is a video is coming for this tune soon and there's an album in the works for 2015. All good stuff to keep an eye out for.
