Jack Ü ft. Kiesza - "Take U There (Tchami Remix)"

If the OG is one of the best songs of the year, you'd be right to expect fire remixes on the side. France's Tchami caps off his biggest year yet with perhaps his straight biggest track to date in delivering one a fire remix of Jack Ü's "Take U There."

If the OG is one of the best songs of the year, you'd be right to expect fire remixes on the side.  France's Tchami caps off his biggest year yet with perhaps his straight biggest track to date in delivering one a fire remix of Jack Ü's "Take U There."

The original, more "future house" sound Tchami exploded with has become somewhat saturated and now since been replaced with an updated 2014 prioritized style of electro-infused house music. There are still touches of bassline and jackin' house here with the thick wobbling basslines and yet the term post-dubstep comes to mind here... but not because I think this is that. It's possibly only "post-dubstep" in the sense that the bass is prioritized in the mix and heard more prominently; a characteristic a wider trend in dance music since dubstep's explosion.  Beyond that, the track has Kiesza's diva vocals and a swath of glitches and horns to keep it moving.  In a lot of simple ways, this is a new style of electro house.

Grab this and remixes from Zeds Dead, TJR, Vindata, Netsky, Felix Cartal, and Tujamo on December 23 via OWSLA / Mad Decent.
