Well alright! Play-N-Skillz aren’t a name that you normally associate with EDM, although you should be up on their sound. They’ve won Grammys with their work, producing Chamillionaire’s classic “Ridin’” and tracks from Lil Wayne‘s Tha Carter III, and this band of brothers has worked with everyone from Afrojack to Ludacris, crafting a number of albums, mixtapes, and well-loved singles. They are currently working on their Trap Hard Texas project, which will feature tracks like this 808-heavy trap rendition of Jay Z‘s “Tom Ford” alongside original tracks from French Montana, Lil Jon, Bun B, and many more. They worked Hov’s “Tom Ford” to bits, reworking a pair of lines into a definitive statement on how they get down.
