I appreciate the hell out of what Jessie Andrews did with her forthcoming In Motion EP. With so much pretension in the dance music scene, sometimes you just need, as she puts it, "simple dance tracks." With the acid-tinged "The Feeling" laying down the mentality that "the feeling is the groove," you really don't have much else to say. Slap a funky beat underneath that and it's dance music bliss. You remember that, right? The closed-eye wreckless abandon in the middle of the club? For all of the posturing and chinstroking that goes on, it feels like a number of us forget the simpler side of the scene. The title track follows that motto to a "T," but makes it a bit funkier. Establish that beat, lock it in, ride it out.
