If you're up on Joker, you know he's the prince of purple, and you're patiently awaiting word on his forthcoming album like the rest of us.  We continue to hear rumors that a huge project is damn near completion, but have nothing in our hands, other than these rumors.  That said, he's been relatively busy with tour dates since the release of last year's Sega Joker Drive, and still found time to knock out a remix for Kill Paris, record a couple DJ mixes, and give away a beautiful record called "Digital Mainframe" that set the tone for the springtime weather break perfectly.

There are also projects dropping on his Kapsize page that the public is largely unaware of because press isn't going out, and because Joker isn't hitting repost on his artist Soundcloud to hip his fans to the label releases, or doing much to clarify the affiliation.  His approach is unconventional, to say the least.  This week's edition of Annie Mac's Free Music Monday highlights this marvelous producer, who completely reworked a bare yet beautiful record that a bubbling producer named Jabru originally produced.  The results are a bit left of what we know Joker for, but that uniqueness is refreshing. This one is downloadable, as well.
