Back in June, Knife Party said that their debut album Abandon Ship was on the way to being complete. With Rob Swire off the tour circuit until later this month due to finalizing the LP, it was only right that we got some new Knife Party on the preview tip. We imagine "Boss Mode" isn't what many expected; who would've thought the first new (unfinished) tune we'd get to hear would be on that trap wave? Rob did say in the description that the "annoying riff" may not make it into the final version. And keep in mind, this is an incomplete tune that you hear more intro than actual meat of, but it's something. We imagine word on Abandon Ship's tracklist and release date should be on the horizon.
