Knight Riderz - "Million Miles (Shiftee Remix)"

Philly's Seclusiasis camp is one outfit that you can't deny. Lead by Starkey and Dev79, they branded the sound they release as "Street Bass," a moniker that blends the influences of urban music along with styles like grime, dubstep, and other bass music genres. They have been creating some of the more captivating, speaker-crushing material coming out of the US, and have received recognition the world over for their output.

Their first release of 2013 is an EP from Knight Riderz, a Canadian beatmaker who has been slowly getting his name out there with his original production along with his awesome remix work. "Million Miles" is an intoxicating tune, and the full EP features a number of remixes from the likes of XLII, Warsnare, Goosebumpz, and Sun In Aquarius, not to mention Hot Mom USA's Shiftee; you lucky DAD readers get to hear the emotionally uplifting turn that Shiftee threw "Million Miles" in before the Million Miles EP's January 21 release.

This Friday, the Seclusiasis crew will be taking over Soundgarden Hall in Philly alongside their sister label Slit Jockey and Actual Records for "Let Your Body Take Control," a night that will feature Shiftee, Kastle, Son of Kick, Dev79, Siyoung, and Krueger (with host Buddy Leezle) providing the bass-fueled sounds.
