I'm not going to say it's easy to remix Lana Del Rey—I imagine a number of producers have tried and failed. What I will say that it's hard to mess up a Lana remix. If you know what the hell you do as a producer, and can make some of that moody bass-driven material, you can pull of an effective remix. Oddly enough, I'm not sure I've heard a number of dubstep takes on her material. Enter Datsik, who churns out a meaty, marvelous take on "Ultra Violence." What he does to one-up is gets the OK to release it on Firepower. If you rock with Lana Del Rey and the brutal sounds of dubstep, this remix is right up your alley. Snag this on September 23.
