When people say shit these days, it's hard to take them seriously. We've been burned so many times with possibly maybes that we need the bare facts in front of us. So forgive us when Lee Bannon told FACT that he was working on jungle music in the vein of Squarepusher. While we're not sure how well the fans of his hip-hop production for Joey Bada$$ or Willie the Kid will fuck with this, but dirty old junglists like some of the DAD staff will be all over this track that includes the following warning: "Turn Off The Lights To Activate The Full Experience Of This Record And Watch Your Room." It's a break-heavy trek through the more atmospheric side of jungle music, circa 1996. We can only hope that there's more where this came from.
