KRNE is an artist you probably don't know but you should. The Oakland producer has been on that future bass tip for a minute as he mixes his own style and sound to make a his own sonic signature. He's had support from Plastician's Terrorrhythm and today we have an exclusive as Krne comes correct with a new remix of current it-pop-star Lorde and her single "Team." When asked about how he came to remix this track, Krne spoke simply and earnestly:
"I know Lorde is really famous, but I don't think I had heard any of her music believe it or not, before this remix - I was just browsing for acapellas, lookin for a remix, and found this one - turns out it is a pretty popular song ;)"
Krne continued that the remix was a bit different for his process. "Tried to keep it simple, let her singing come thru - which for me requires a lot of restraint as I tend to over-layer things"
Well after listening to this about a billion times, I can't say I disagree with any of his choices! I'm just a blogger anyway and Krne's got a mature approach to his music and it pays off in spades. This remix has banging percussion and the purple vibes are limitless and perfectly shows why Krne is a name you need to know and all these singer-songwriters need to know if they're looking for a an excellent producer. This dude is special I'm thrilled to have this as a DAD premiere.
