A big part of electronic music these days is finding just the right sample to tie a track together. Be it the ubiquitous “hey!” and “what!” samples that typify the trap and twerk scenes, the R&B samples in the future world, samples are essential. UK house and bass artist Low Steppa knows the importance of samples and his newest is another example of this. “Sometimes” is a freebie piano house tune sampling Candi Stanton’s 1986 single, “You Got The Love.” The result is just JAZZ. This is a track that should go straight into all your best playlists and crates. The piano chops, the vocal work, the spoken word sections, and the easy house groove make this quite the jam.
