Word about a record by Ludacris that featured Wiz Khalifa and Jeremih with production by Cashmere Cat has been circulating for at least six months. CC tweeted about it back in June, teased it a few times, and people seemed to forget about it. An unofficial leak landed on every rap site in the world this morning, but Ludacris just uploaded the audio this evening.
We can't help but cringe a bit as the hook borrows from one of the most annoying dance music songs of the '90s, but somehow it feels like that'll be the factor that lands this record on the Billboard charts. We're certainly glad a producer like Cashmere Cat is getting the mainstream look, and seeing Ludacris back in action is marvelous, but this one just feels forced.
