Major Lazer - "Jet Blue Jet (Joey Massa Remix)"

If you listened to Saturday evening's Diplo & Friends program on BBC Radio 1, you likely heard newly signed to Mad Decent Swedish producer Joey Massa's enormous hardstyle edit of Major Lazer's latest single "Jet Blue Jet." The dancehall meets big room Dutch house track gets nudged over the edge into pure hardstyle and trap mayhem on this big building banger, which would appear to be part of a forthcoming "Jet Blue Jet" remix release.

Massa is no newcomer to the scene, though. With support in the past from larger acts including Crookers, Zedd, Tommy Trash, and Style of Eye, the Malmo, Sweden native has distinguished himself with both heavy bass and electro remixes, as well as a constant touring schedule in his native country and throughout Europe. As Mad Decent continues to expand its global scope and imprint the label/brand's iconic style on both underground clubs and festivals worldwide, having producers capable of this level of creativity is undoubtedly important.
