In LA the sound is being called "Night Bass," but do not be mistaken; bass-heavy house music was not born there.  The UK has been pushing out these phat-bottomed house chunes for a hot minute whether they be from Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, London or any number of spots.  One of the names we've been following in that movement has been Mak & Pastman.  The duo appeared on DAD last year with their dope official remix for Breach's 2013 massive smash "Jack," and today their back with their own original, "Stagger."  Stagger features an ominous lounge vibe characterized by a chugging tech house feel and a rolling low-end.  At just under eight minutes long, this one is hardly repetitive with it's jazzy piano licks and an understated dancefloor energy flowing throughout this. The track will be apart their Jam One EP, and it's coming out on their new label, Materials on July 28 on vinyl and August 11 in digital format.
