Mala Noche Premieres a New Mix and Drops a Track From His Forthcoming "Metele" EP

If closely reading Do Androids Dance as of late, the bass explorations of Portuguese-French producer Mala Noche have gained in favor in a manner most significant. With the release of his Metele EP on May 19 with Portugal-based powerhouse indie label Enchufada, it isn't a case of a break-out performance, but just another moment wherein a star on the rise proves his top tier talent for a universal audience.

Today we're introdiced to "Senta," a track that kicks off the EP with Mala Noche showcasing his skills at a more house-friendly 130 BPM tempo. Though primarily known for his work in zouk bass (90 BPM) and moombahton (110 BPM) kicking up the tempo (and sampling baile funk melodies) doesn't change the notion of heavy, funky and impact-filled dance floor champion sounds. With an EP featuring classic moombahton vibes, funky global bass as well as more house-styled exploration, it's certainly worth a listen.

Insofar as the mix, Mala Noche got his hands on some unreleased Enchufada fire, and blended it with some of his own tracks and current inspirations. It certainly packs a wallop and is worthy of multiple listens.
