Midwestern indie folk artist Marshall Lewis isn't exactly what you'd expect to find on DAD. Today though he makes debut in remix form via a special cut from Ianborg & Bronze Whale. Remixing Lewis' new single "Chapters," the two outfits have come together to make something that's not only reminiscent of Lewis' own style of acoustic-based homly folk music, but the remixers' background of deep, atmospheric electronica. The result is a future garage leaning cut with deep ambient soundscapes drenching pitched up vocals over a bevy of shuffled percussive rhythms. The remix is available for free download now but something tells me these lads need to work together more.
