Earlier this week, Mary J. Blige revealed that she'd been working with Disclosure on her new album, The London Sessions, and this track in particular was what was mentioned in the article. Kind of surprised this one hit, but glad it did, as Disclosure and MJB working together is pretty damn fly. "Right Now" is a bit more mid-tempo that what people might expect from Disclosure, but with thumping drums and bright synths, this is a great bed for Mary to coast over. She doesn't go super ham with her vocals, choosing to ride the tune way more calmly than she normally would. It's interesting; on the newer version of "F For You," it felt like Mary and Disclosure were creating a proper diva-house vibes (aka an homage to sounds that Mary was built for and Disclosure emulates on the regular), but this is a song that feels better suited for both the brothers Lawrence and the Queen of hip-hop soul. No word on when this will be released, but it's a great tune to ride into the weekend with.

UPDATE The black-and-white official video for "Right Now" has hit. It's legit just scenes of MJB riding around England in between clips of Mary in the video laying down the vocals for this jam (alongside the Disclosure boys).
