Enchufada's perpetually globe-trotting Upper Cuts series visits now journeys to Belgium in the midst of Volume Three. The European locale is not just the home of producer Max le Daron, but is also an area in favor of the Azonto musical style. "Gulder Riddim" is le Daron's Azonte-flavored addition to this growing compilation, and sounds like a mix of UK grime and West African dub. Thus, it's plenty funky and much heavier on the low-end vibes than most club-friendly sounds. Gulder is a reference to a popular Nigerian beer manufacturer, so it would seem perfectly apropos to presume that upon downing a few Gulders (marketed as the "ultimate beer") that hearing this track might just set a listener into dancing to an "ultimate groove."
