We’ve kind of been trying to tell you about this kid Mikos Da Gawd.  At the very least, I have for DAD… giving a lot of his work some love and he was featured in our 50 under 5000 feature.  But now you’ve got the Soulection co-sign with this drop in their White Label series.  Plus you’ve got a collab with Mr. Carmack in here, too.  So essentially you should already know… but I’m going to tell you more because it’s deserved.  This kid from the bay is pretty much just magic on the beats.  Feels like some MPC type skills with the crack and swing of the drums, but he’s killing it however the creative process is getting done.  This White Label release is just that though.  4 flips of sampled tunes and given away for free.  The D’Angelo and Roots bootlegs are the two solo joints on here and they’re both flames.  The collab with Mr. Carmack, “Get Lo” is definitely cool, but the scene stealer on the release is the last tune, “Shake.”  It features Tele Fresco, who’s from Seattle and has a ton of free music up on his SoundCloud as well.  This whole EP should be an immediate download as Soulection continues to dominate and now they’re aligned with Mikos Da Gawd.  My job trying to make you listen to him should be over now.
