Nina Simone's "Don't Let Me Be Missunderstood" already received the remix treatment from Zeds Dead on the forthcoming Verve Remixed: The First Ladies compilation, but now we have Bassnectar taking on one of her most well-known tracks, "Feeling Good," turning it onto a trap behemoth like no other. If you're bold enough to be blaring this in your ride, your subs will get a proper workout; his 808s aren't playing fair. You also have to appreciate how many trap songs rock with big horns, but this feels like one of the few trap tunes to feature a dope horn done right. The full compilation drops on July 9.
