Yesterday, someone asked me if drum & bass was experiencing a resurgence. I politely told them no, as dnb has always been ill, it's just that the public chooses when they want to really pay attention. Like, Noisia put out a great single in 2013 that we're not sure the electronic music scene overall respected. Maybe their forthcoming EP, Purpose, will make more of an impact, especially with vicious tunes like "Oh Oh." This is one of those bits that made us appreciate the freshness that Noisia came with at the beginning. It's that next level neurofunk that was so vital, and with the way this crew has matured, they've truly built upon the foundation of legends like Ed Rush & Optical. Such a full sound, with both sharp and blunt edges to it. Lethal.

Purpose will be released on June 30, in both digital and limited 4x12" vinyl editions. It looks like that track "Asteroids" with Prolix will also be on this EP. Fire.
