After TrapZillas remixed OT Genasis' "CoCo" (and eventually morphed it into a version with RiFF RAFF and Major Lazer), I was ready to put a moratorium on "CoCo" remixes. It's weird how dance music remixing works; non-EDM songs that go viral have been missed by our crowd for a bit (it took a bit for remixes of tracks like "No Type," for example), but "CoCo" was so obvious, it feels like the reworks are coming out the woodwork. While most of the ideas have been similar, Lucky Beard's Stabber and Lazy Ants injected even more bass into that track with their clubby bootleg. It's ill how they took the "baking soda" line (which, honestly, is the best thing about the song) and made that the focal point. Hell, they didn't even go for the "in love with the coco" line, which is impressive.

They gave their bootleg away for free, so we might have to steer producers from doing club remixes and trap remixes of "CoCo." Just saying.
