Breakbot is another name out of the Ed Banger Records camp you need to know. The Frenchman has been releasing his own quality productions for some time now, but he has truly endeared himself through his magical remixes. Remixing the likes of Justice, Birdy Nam Nam, Chromeo, Air, and Kavinsky has taken him very far and this week we've got his spin of fellow Frenchmen Phoenix and their single "Trying To Be Cool." Breakbot's take is a decidedly summer-y French vibe fit for a cookout or those late-night romps at the tiki bar. Earnest vocals from Phoenix's Thomas Mars over the funky walking bassline and synthpop stabs make this quite infectious.
