PREMIERE: Romor - "Last Requests"

Will "Sabo" Sabotini, on top of being a skilled producer and DJ of deep tropical sounds, is also the proprietor of one of the great boutique labels on my radar, Sol Selectas. It's an expertly curated label where you always know exactly the type of vibes that will be served: late night, hot, sweaty, and sensual.

This latest track from Britain's Romor fits right in. A type of zouk/moombahton hybrid, it uses samples from a speech from a movie I can't place just now and fills in the space in between with a steady, throbbing beat fit for the most packed and smokey of after hours clubs. It's a cut from his Proper Tasty EP, which is out today. Much thanks to Romor and Sabo for being so keen to have this track premiere with DAD. The whole EP is a masterstroke that should reignite your love of zouk bass and other slower BPM tropical sounds that have fallen a bit to the wayside as of late now that everyone seems to have jumped on the jungle terror train. If this track speaks to you, why not buy the whole EP from Juno like a boss.
