Austin native RUN DMT has been on an undeniable run in the past year, releasing a constant stream of ridiculous tunes that includes an official remix of Diplo's "Revolution," as well as a giant stack of freebies. He's a veteran in this game that has focused more on production than studio mixes, but he's back with his first mixtape in more than a year and a half, and with his second "Existential Mix" (a play on the Essential Mix brand, perhaps?), he picks up right where he left off, and delivers with force.
Whizzing through RUN DMT premiered two new records on this mix, "Duckface" and "Boom Boom Room" (which drop at the 8:42 and 49:20 marks respectively), tunes that management promises will be released in the next couple of months. He also ran through a barrage of huge records, included nearly half a dozen of his own originals and remixes, and masterfully weaved between dubstep, trap, drumstep, twerk, and drum & bass, and does so in a way that only a seasoned professional can pull off.
