California native RJ Tripps has a stronghold on those laid back melodic r&b vibes, and is producing incredible bass music that relies on these soulful melodies and sounds. We uploaded his collaborative ballad with Cosmic Quest “Moonlight Bae” last week, and he immediately followed up with an edit of Auckland phenom Samuel Truth’s “RIP Chiaotzu.” It keeps all of the melody from the original, but flips the sequencing and adds drum swings that sit perfectly. The great thing here is that this song was dedicated to a Dragonball character that died on a kamikaze mission of sorts. This whole post is the definition of Internet.
